Degree Course - Semester
Pattern.
For Bachelor of Engg. Degree of
Shivaji University duration of the course is 4 years. Whole course is divided
into 4 Years and years is divided into 2 Semester each. University conducts
theoretical and practical examination at the end of each semester. For more
details refer syllabus and the rules of the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
Academic year usually begins in the first week of July every year. Exact dates
and duration and term in each semester is notified by the Shivaji University,
Kolhapur.
Diploma Course - Yearly
Pattern.
No candidates are allowed to
appear examination unless his attendance in theory and practical is more than 75
% and unless candidates completes satisfactory prescribed practical/term work
and certified by the principal. The candidates who fail to complete prescribed
practical work and term work and / or his attendance is less than 75 % is
declared as defaulter and is detained in the same class and is not allowed to
appear in the ensuing examination. Such detained candidates is required to take
a fresh admission to the same class by paying regular annual fees
Fees
This is non-aided institution
and financed by 'Shetkari Shikshan Mandal' for it's recurring expenditure.
Institute has to depends solely on fees Collected from the students. However,
fees to charged are fixed by the Director of Technical education, Govt. of
Maharashtra. In accordance to the recent decision of the Supreme Court New Delhi
and as per the subsequent amendments. More information can be obtained from the
